This editorial introduces Journal of Physiotherapy’s second articlecollection online. Each article collection is a collection of papers in aspecific field of research, published in the Journal of Physiotherapywithin the past decade and curated to facilitate access to importantfindings in that field, highlight trends in research in that field, andprovide a scoping perspective on the implications for furtherresearch. They are collated on the journal’s website (https://www.sciencedirect.com/journal/journal-of-physiotherapy/special-issues).The previous article collection addressed low back pain. The focus ofthis article collection is chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD).
