We are concerned about the reporting of the trial ‘Neurodynamic treatment did not improve pain and disability at two weeksin patients with chronic nerve-related leg pain’.1[1_TD$DIF] There is atendency to simplify the findings of clinical trials into binaryconclusions (either positive or negative) based on the analysis ofthe primary outcomes.2 Often, a more nuanced interpretation isrequired by thoroughly examining the totality of the evidence, notjust the primary outcomes.2 In our opinion, this nuance is lackingin the study by Ferreira et al.1 If we follow their conclusions, werisk discarding valuable interventions, as is evident from theirown1 and other studies.3.
