The purpose of this trial is to evaluate the effectiveness of interferon in combination with laser surgery versus laser surgery alone in the treatment of Pediatric Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis. 2 mu/m sq of human leukocyte interferon is administered intramuscularly daily for the first week and then three times per week for one year to 50% of the patients randomized into the trial. Patients are followed with an endoscopic exam every three months for two years. The following second annual report summarizes the progress of the National Interferon trial in Recurrent Respiratory Papillomatosis.
