摘要

Solar cells are currently the subject of various research works whose goal is to improve the performance of these cells by minimizing physical losses and achieving the best relationship between energy efficiency and cost. Among the most common types of cells currently, one can find those in thin layers made in CIGS (Copper, Indium, Gallium and Selenium). The objective of this work is within the framework of the numerical modeling of the tandem structure of two thin-film solar cells based on CIGS in order to optimize the physical and geometrical characteristics of the different layers of the cell such as the thicknesses of the layers, gap energy, etc. The studied cell is composed of two parts; an top cell based on CuGaSe2 and a bottom cell based on CuInse2.
