Luminous Efficiency and Color Rendering of Phosphor- Converted White LEDs

References(8) Cited-By(4) Based on a standard chromatic calculation the luminous efficiency and color rendering properties of white phosphor-converted light emitting diodes (pc-LEDs) is analyzed and discussed. In the present work the broadband emission spectrum of the phosphor is best fitted by an asymmetric Gaussian function. It is found that the maximum luminous efficiency of the pc-LED is about 260lm/W.
