In this paper, we present the Lax-Wendroff theorem of entropy dissipation method for scalar conservation laws in one space dimension. Suppose that ul(x, t) the numerical solution computed by the entropy dissipation method converges to a function u(x, t) as l ? ?,then u(x, t) is a weak solution that satisfying the entropy condition of the conservation law.
