Estimation of Generalizability Coefficients: An Application of Structural Equation Modeling

摘要

The aim of this study is to provide guidance as to the interpretation of results of structural equation model of the variance components according to the generalizability theory. According to the findings, It is observed that G coefficients have been very close to each other which calculated with both LISREL and SPSS programs for both data sets. It has been observed that there is no any significant difference between G coefficients when this difference has been tested with Fisher’s Z test. In other words, the estimations of G coefficients that calculated with various programs have been found similar. Keywords: generalizability coefficiency, reliability, SEM, EduG
