摘要

The development of heat pump technologyhas led to new opportunities of approaching issuesabout geothermalism and in particular the use of lowand very low enthalpy geothermal resources.Regarding the use of geothermal energy, a specialplace have the research aimed to ensure the indoorthermal comfort using this form of energy. There havebeen made a series of research on the best option touse geothermal energy cascade, accompanied by theheat pump technology in the existing thermal station atthe University of Oradea. As shown in the researchundertaken until now, the possibilities of exploitinggeothermal energy within a substation are not entirelyused, the research can successfully continueaddressing variants with hot air or by other methods.As a remarkable result of this research, it should benoted that the theoretical analyzes performed for somecase and the analyzes carried out on a similarfunctional system, led to the possibility to optimize theautomation strategies of the existing thermal powerstation and implicitly to its operation.
