Bilateral choroidal osteoma associated with langerhans cell histiocytosis, a?coincidence?

PurposeTo describe a case of bilateral choroidal osteoma (CO) in a patient with a history of langerhans cell histiocytosis (LCH).MethodsA 24-year-old man complaining of gradually decreasing visual acuity in both eyes is presented. He had a history of lymphadenopathy, respiratory symptoms, and pathology-proven diagnosis of LCH.ResultsOphthalmic clinical and imaging studies revealed bilateral CO.ConclusionIn this patient, we suggest a possible relationship between LCH and CO.
