The detour distance D(u,v) between two distinct vertices u and v of a connected graph G is the maximum of the lengths of u?v paths in G . The detour index dd(G)of G is the sum of D(u,v)for all unordered pairs u, v of G . The detour polynomial D(G;x)of G is ( , ) { , } D u v u v ? x . In this paper, the detour indices and polynomials of some class of ladder graphs are obtained.
