Weak-calf syndrome in a crossbred calf: a case report

摘要

A 8-days-old crossbred calf was admitted to teaching veterinary hospital with a history of weakness, unable to stand and not interested to suckle and difficulty in breathing. On the basis of its clinical sign it was diagnosis as weak-calf syndrome. Combined calcium preparation and 20% magnesium solution was given subcutaneously for 3 days. Along with this amino acid preparation was given intramuscularly for 3 days and this treatment was satisfactory for recovery this calf.
