Alternative oral dosage forms, such asorally disintegrating granules (ODGs), instantdrinks, lozenges, and chewable and effervescent tablets, are becoming increasingly popular with consumers. But there is little point informulating more user-friendly dosage forms ifthe packaging they come in is difficult to openor does not easily integrate into consumers’daily lives.
