Synthesis and antimicrobial studies of a novel series of piperazine chalcones

ketones and 4-(4-Methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-benzaldehyde. These newly synthesized compounds were characterized by physical, chemical and spectral analysis data and are further screened for their antimicrobial activity. The newly synthesized chalcones showed moderate to good antimicrobial activity.
