Let A be a finite subset of?2. We say A tiles?2 with the translation setC, if any integer z∈?2can be represented as z1+z2,z1∈ A, z2∈ Cin an unique way. In this case we call A a?2-tile and writeA⊕C=?2.A tile A is said to be a normal?2-tile if there exists a periodic setC such thatA⊕C=?2. We characterize all normal?2-tiles with prime cardinality.
