Transference. Dialectics of the intrapsychic versus the intersubjective

The thesis that I propose is that the disjunction between whether Transference is an intrapsychic production or an intersubjective and interpersonal creation, is the product of a basic cognitive pattern in which one tends to think in dialectical terms. Therefore, Transference not only is repetition of patterns or models, but an organizational activity, a structurative self function and a way to create meaning. Is an essential and necessary mental mechanism that contains repetitive elements of the unconscious personal history (intrapsychic, although originating from the object relations), but which also acquire elements from the current extrapsychic or interpersonal context, so that these two groups of elements interact and feed from each other.
