摘要

In addition to exhibiting a rich variety of bifurcation andchaos via tuning parameters, a chaotic system introduced by Sprott canbe modeled and realized with a fixed main system block and manydifferent changeable nonlinear function blocks such aspiecewise-linear function, cubic function and other trigonometricfunctions. This system is very suitable for implementing aprogrammable chaos generator according to its changeable nonlinearity.This paper presents a FPAA (Field Programmable Analog Array)-basedprogrammable implementation of this system. Nonlinear function blocksused in this chaotic system are modeled with FPAA programming and amodel is rapidly changed for realizing other nonlinear functions.
