The Use of Functional Imaging in a Patient with Head and Neck Paragangliomas

A21-yr-old male presented to the National Institutesof Health with five head and neck paragangliomas,found after treatment for chronic ear infections. Symp-toms experienced by the patient included constant rightear pain, mild yellowish discharge from the right ear, de-creased hearing, and a constant vibration sound on theright side but no symptoms related to catecholamineexcess.
