摘要

ABSTRACTThe ever-evolving nature of the construction industry, along with using heavy equipment and hazardous materials, increases the potential of accidents and injuries among Hispanic workers, the utmost at-risk population in thisindustry. This paper seeks to integrate the previously disconnected body of knowledge surrounding the leadingfactors impacting adverse safety outcomes among Hispanic workers, as well as the list of initiatives taken by theconstruction industry to e?ectively address the risk factors between 2000 and 2015. Searches were conductedthrough library engines and databases, along with the queries in established publications in the constructionindustry. The articles were critically reviewed to provide a clearer understanding of the current state of Hispanicworker safety in the construction industry. We conclude by suggesting directions for future work associated withimproving Hispanic worker safety at construction sites.
