Spiritualitetsteologisk tenkning i den karmelittiske tradisjonen

This article seeks to examine the relationship between theology and spirituality with special regard to the Carmelite tradition. The author argues that there are clear connections between Carmelite spirituality and patristic and monastic theology. In addition, the article seeks to examine the theological assumptions underlying much of the reasoning for change that is evident especially in the texts of Teresa of Avila and John of the Cross.
