Introducing the NSW Centre for Public Health Nutrition

The NSW Centre for Public Health Nutrition wasestablished in 2000, as an initiative of the NSWDepartment of Health in collaboration with the NutritionResearch Foundation of the University of Sydney. Thepurpose of the Centre is to assist and support NSW Healthand public health practitioners to plan and implementhigh quality policies and programs that improve thenutrition of the NSW population. The Centre is a smallteam of public health professionals with expertise inpopulation nutrition. Karen Webb, Ian Caterson, and TimGill are the academic directors of the Centre, which islocated at the University of Sydney.
