OBSAH KADMIA A OLOVA V ZRNE JA?ME?A SIATEHO S OH?ADOM NA DODR?ANIE EKOLOGICKEJ ROVNOVáHY PESTOVATE?SKéHO PROSTREDIACADMIUM AND LEAD CONTENTS IN BARLEY GRAINS FROM THE VIEW POINT OF ECOLOGICAL BALANCE OF CULTIVATION ENVIRONMENT
The accumulation of cadmium and lead into generative parts of barley is dependent on various external factors (supply of soil nutrition or agrotechnical interference). Aim of our work focused on determination of accumulation of risk elements in cereal barley seed. For experimental purpose arable land from Dolná Malanta location was chosen, where three species of winter barley and four species of spring barley were tested. The impacts of entry of monitored risk elements from four fertilization levels as well as at two different conditions of cultivation, known as conventional tillage cultivation (ploughed till 0.20 m depth) and reduced tillage (ploughed till 0.10 – 0.12 m depth) were observed. Increase of lead content in barley grains was observed in variants with reduced tillage, where phosphate and potassium fertilizers were applied. In contrary, presence of these fertilizers did not influence the content of the second risk element – cadmium. Cultivation method of reduced tillage favoured higher accumulation of cadmium in barley grains. The contents of both the risk elements did not exhibit any mutual correlation.
