Difficult differential diagnosis of a large benign left atrial mass: a case report

Introduction A differential diagnosis of large in?tracardiac masses can be difficult, considering nu?merous overlapping characteristics between pos?sible causes. In this report, we describe a benignmass in the left atrium (LA) diagnosed by trans?esophageal echocardiography (TEE) on the op?erating table before a planned cardiac surgery.
