Mixed Bag: 88% Bullish on PR Returning to Size After Pandemic, but 70% Concerned about Future

With most crises, it's relatively certain there will be an end. As we enter yet another month of the pandemic, even some medical experts are unsure when, if or how it will end. Some medical experts believe the novel coronavirus may never depart, despite a vaccine. It could become an endemic disease, joining measles, chicken pox and HIV. Likewise, our latest PRNEWS survey of 200 PR executives found 70 percent believe "uncertainty about the future" is the most difficult part of the pandemic (see chart 5). And a troubling trend the survey exposes is a lack of communication about diversity and inclusion (see chart 1).
