The Missouri Botanical Garden will host the 2011 Conference of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation, bringing together plant conservation scientists, policy makers and practitioners from all over the world to share methods and results that will advance plant conservation measurably. This conference, titled “Supporting the worldwide implementation of the Global Strategy for Plant Conservation,” is organized by the Global Partnership for Plant Conservation (GPPC) in association with the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) and Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI).
