Na teoria marxiana, as categorias comparecem como formas moventes e movidas da realidade, contrapondo-se às concep??es que tentam erigir os preceitos meramente gnosiológicos como critérios fundamentais de constitui??o das matrizes categoriais. Apesar das insuficiências do primado hierárquico das determina??es lógicas sobre as determina??es ontológicas que perpassam a perspectiva hegeliana, é relevante destacar como essa perspectiva se apresenta como a primeira tentativa de constitui??o dum tratamento correto das categorias, o que lhe confere o posto de descobridora de territórios ainda n?o explorados e somente levados a sua pertinente elucida??o pela media??o da dialética materialista. Abstract : The present text has as objective clarify the ontological nature of the categories in the Marx's theory and how this has its support in Hegel's considerations in the categories expressed in Science of logic. In Marx's theory, the categories stand as the moving and moved forms of reality, it opposed to the conceptions that try to raise the merely gnosiologic precepts as fundamental criterions of constitutions of the categorical matrixes. Besides the insufficiencies of the hierarchical primacy of the logical determinations upon the ontological determinations that spervades the Hegelian perspective, it is elementary highlight how this perspective the first attempt to formulate a correct treatment of the categories, what confers it the position of discoverer of territories not yet explored and only pertinently elucidated by the mediation of the materialist dialectical. For this, it is pertinent to observe the reflexive relation existing between the simple categories and the complex categories, and how the class struggle appears as the fundamental category to the explanation of the population's abstract category.
