The paper deals with the urgent character of the problem of raising level of political culture in the society, student youth in particular. Having defined the essence of the notions political culture and civic culture, the author establishes the interrelation between these two similar but not synonymies notions. The concept of political crop and crop civil are the close, but not identical. Necessity of an output of society from state crisis demands in the capacity of locomotor radical changes of young person with comprehension of inevitability and progressiveness of democratic changes in the state.
