(Sr1-xEux)3Al2O6redphosphorwassynthesizedbyco-precipitationwithammoniumbicarbonateasprecipitant.X-raydiffractionresultindicatedthepreparedsampleshavestandardcrystalstructureofSr3Al2O6,andco-precipitationhaslowercrystallizationtemperaturethansolidstatereaction.Scanningelectronmicroscopeimagerevealedtherealmorphologyandparticlesizeofobtainedphosphorswithweakagglomeration.RedemissionofEu2+centerswasshownatpeakof620nmunderexcitationwithwavelengthof440~480nm,whichfittedwellwithGaNbluechipofwhiteLEDs.Asresult,theluminescencepropertyofobtained(Sr1-xEux)3Al2O6phosphorwasimprovedobviouslypreparedbyco-precipitationcomparingwithsolid-statereaction.
