Thisstudynumericallyinvestigatedquasi-phasematchingconditionforSecondHarmonicGeneration(SGH)inanovelfive-foldsymmetricPhotonicQuasiCrystalfiber(PQF).TheopticalpropertiesrequiredforthephasematchingconditionisrealizedbymodifyingtheairholesizeandlatticepitchfortheproposedPQF.Inthisstudywehavetargetedonwavelengthmismatchfactor,overlapintegralofthefundamentalandthesecondordermodeandcoherencelength.DuetostrongguidanceoftheQuasi-latticestructure,wehavenumericallystudiedthevisiblewavelengthgenerationwitharelativeefficiencyof56.57%W-1cm-2fortheproposedfiber.
