Withinthispaper,extendedexperimentalresearchesregardingthebehaviorofplainweavecarbonfabric-reinforcedepoxycompositelaminatessubjectedtothree-pointbendtestshavebeencarriedout.Asreinforcementmaterial,200g/m2specificweightplainweavecarbonfabrichasbeenused.Variousspecimenshavebeencutfromplatesoffive,sixandsevenlayersofepoxyresinimpregnatedfabricaccordingtoISO14125:1998:quot;Fibre-reinforcedplasticcomposites-Determinationofflexuralpropertiesquot;.Theseplateshavebeencuredinanautoclavewithcontrolledtemperatureandpressure.Followingmechanicalpropertieshavebeendeterminedduringthree-pointbendtests:Young'smodulusofbending,stiffness,flexuralrigidity,maximumbendstress/strainatmaximumandminimumload/extension,load/stress/strainatmaximumandminimumload/extensionandsoon.
