Cranking Inertia in the Frame of the Woods-Saxon Two Center Shell Model

The cranking mass parameters are obtained for a new realistic two center shell model. This new model solves a Woods-Saxon potential corrected within spin-orbit and Coulomb terms in an analytic eigenvector basis given by the semi-symmetric two center potential. The mean field potential is characterized by five degrees of freedom corresponding to the elongation, to the necking, to the two deformations of the nascent fragments and to the mass asymmetry. A comparison of the results obtained within the cranking approximation and those given by the Werner-Wheeler method is presented.
