Influência do Protocolo Agroambiental na Gest?o Ambiental de Indústrias do Setor Sucroenergético da Microrregi?o de Assis/SP: Um Estudo de Múltiplos Casos

A no??o de que existe certa tens?o entre as atividades econ?micas e o ambiente natural n?o é recente. Estudos têm evidenciado que a inser??o da dimens?o ambiental na gest?o corporativa pode trazer ganhos de competitividade para as organiza??es, além de melhorar sua imagem diante de seus stakeholders. No bojo desse cenário est?o as agroindústrias e fornecedores de cana-de-a?úcar atuantes no setor sucroenergético que apresentam forte expans?o e significativos impactos econ?mico, social e ambiental. A pesquisa objetivou analisar o nível de gest?o ambiental de indústrias do setor sucroenergético localizadas na Microrregi?o de Assis/SP, a partir da implementa??o e execu??o das Diretivas Técnicas do Protocolo Agroambiental. Realizou-se um estudo de múltiplos casos em quatro Agroindústrias, dois Fornecedores e uma Associa??o de Fornecedores. Como auxílio à análise de conteúdo utilizou-se o software ATLAS.ti. Os resultados permitiram concluir que a ades?o voluntária ao Protocolo influenciou, significativamente, o nível de gest?o das agroindústrias e fornecedores, embora, com exce??o da AGR2, as demais mantêm-se consolidadas no Nível Intermediário de gest?o ambiental, com destaque paras as agroindústrias AGR1, AGR3 e AGR4 que apresentaram algumas características do Nível Avan?ado, o que pode sugerir o viso de um avan?o a um patamar de maior excelência na gest?o ambiental.The notion that there is some tension between economic activities and the natural environment is not new. Studies have shown that the inclusion of environmental concerns in corporate management can bring competitiveness gains for organizations, as well as improve their image before their stakeholders. In the midst of this scenario are the agribusiness and sugarcane suppliers operating in the sugarcane industry that have strong growth and significant economic, social and environmental impacts. The research aimed to analyze the level of environmental management sugarcane industry of industries located in Assis/SP micro-region from the implementation and execution of Technical Policy of the Agro-environmental Protocol. We conducted a study of multiple cases in four Agribusiness two Suppliers and Suppliers Association. As an aid to content analysis used the ATLAS.ti software. The results showed that the voluntary accession to the Protocol influenced significantly the level of management of agro-industries and suppliers, though, except for AGR2, the others remain consolidated in the Intermediate Level of environmental management, especially paras AGR1 the agribusinesses, AGR3 and AGR4 presenting some features of the Advanced Level, which may suggest the vision of a breakthrough to a higher level of excellence in environmental management.
