The introductory chapter of submitted article deals with a description of twoselected flexible shaft couplings, specifically with Hardy flexible coupling and pneumaticflexible coupling 4–2/70–T–C. However, considerable attention is devoted to experimentalmeasurements in order to obtain the desired properties of these couplings - static and dynamicproperties.
