This Collaborating Centre is a consortium comprisingthe Animal Welfare Programme of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Universidad Austral de Chile (UACh), Chile, and the Animal Welfare Programme of the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Universidad de la República (Udelar), Uruguay. In May 2013, the Programme on Animal Welfare and Sustainable Livestock Production of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zootechnics, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), Mexico, became the third member of this consortium.
