World Animal Health Information and Analysis Department Dr Paula Cáceres Head of Department Dr Paula Cáceres graduated with a Master’s degree in Veterinary Preventive Medicine and Epidemiology from the University of Chile and arrived at the OIE in 2010 after more than 11 years of experience in Chile in the ?elds of animal health, veterinary epidemiology, foreign trade in livestock products, food safety, animal traceability, project evaluation and statistics. After three years working as a veterinary epidemiologist in the Animal Health Information Department, Dr Cáceres took over as Deputy Head of this department on 1 October 2013. On 1 June 2014, she was appointed Head of the Animal Health Information Department, which has been renamed as World Animal Health Information and Analysis Department. We are extremely pleased to welcome her to this new role and wish her every success in it.
