Coordination of the World Fund Ms Sophie Rivière Project Of?cer Sophie Rivière joined the Coordination Unit of the OIE World Animal Health and Welfare Fund in November 2014 as a Project Of?cer. A French citizen who grew up in the United States, Sophie brings with her ten years of experience in managing international development projects, particularly in the ?elds of higher education and research. She spent three years working as the Advisor to the Director General of 2iE, the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering, an African Centre of Excellence based in Burkina Faso that provides high-level training to students from over 40 different countries. She holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the Sorbonne in France and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Development from McGill University in Canada.
