[Portuguese] O artigo apresenta os resultados do estudo realizado com os alunos do III Curso de Gest?o de Arquivo Públicos e Empresariais da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). O foco foi verificar se s?o conhecidas as características necessárias do empreendedor, se os sujeitos da pesquisa possuem característicasnecessárias ao profissional empreendedor e no caso afirmativo identificar quais s?o as respectivas características. Utilizando-se o questionário. Entre os resultados observa-se que os sujeitos da pesquisa conhecem as características necessárias do empreendedor e possuem respectivas características.[English] This paper presents the results of the study with students III Curso de Gest?o de Arquivo Públicos e Empresariais da UniversidadeFederal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). The focus was to determine whetherthere are known characteristics required of the entrepreneur, if the subjects have characteristics necessary to the professional entrepreneur and if so what are the identifying characteristics.
