摘要

Distribution network expansion planning denotes where, when and how many new linesshould be installed at distribution system in order to cope with load growing. Indistribution systems, the load is usually increased and an expansion planning is requiredto satisfy the demand in the future. In this paper, distribution network expansionplanning is presented to deal with load evolution. The expansion problem ismathematically formulated as a constrained optimization programming and solved byusing genetic algorithms. A radial distribution network is considered as test system. Thesimulation results demonstrate the validity of the proposed method.
