摘要

This real time study is intent to analyze the impact and role of Distributed Generation (DG) in Tamil Nadu, India to examine what the benefits of decentralized generation would be for peak clipping. Using load flow analysis to simulation over a quantify the loss reduction and system improvement by having decentralized generation available line conditions for actual rural feeders in Tamil Nadu, India. In order to realize the energy efficiency potential and upscale the implementation of DSM program by utility, load research should be the starting point. One of the key objectives of load research is to understand and analyze the utility's system load profile and Peak clipping. This helps utilities to better plan their system in Demand side Management.
