Asurveywascarriedouttoevaluatetheuseofalocalmarketasamethodtoassessitsgeographicalregionofinfluence.Interviewsweremadewiththecasualtradesmenlinkedtolocalprocessesofproduction.Intotal332commoditieswereidentified,whichweregroupedinto11families.Therewasaclearpredominanceofagriculturalproducts.Thespatialdistributionofthecommoditiesallowedthedefinitionofthreeregionsofinfluence.Themethodisdiscussedintermsofthecommercialfluxes,andprecedenceofthearea.
