AlthoughtheMantaroValleyisn#8217;toneofthemaindairyareasofPeru,ithasanaccelerateddynamicgrowthinmilkproduction,achievingtwiceofitsproductionineightyears.However,forthisgrowthtocontinuetheproducermustadapttoclimatechange,becausedairyfarmingdependslargelyonweatherconditions.Itisknownthatadaptationisatwo-stepprocess:firsttheproducermustperceivethattheclimatehaschangedandthenrespondtochangesthroughadaptation.Therefore,thisresearchseekstoexplorethedairyfarmer#8217;sperceptioninordertohaveabasisfordevelopingadaptationmeasures.Theresultsshowthatdairyfarmersperceivethattheclimateischanging.Inaddition,itwasshowninthisstudythatdespitehighlevelsofperceptionofchangesinclimate,thelevelofknowledgeofclimatechangeasaphenomenonislow.
