Synergizing economics, crisis and culture: a concern for cultural management

This study attempted to extricate the relationship between economics, crisis and culture. It strives to depict the connection between economics and culture, its resultant flow into production and consumption and how these economic factors enforce human challenges. It probed these challenges to ascertain their dependence on adequate application of economics and culture elements. It observed that inadequate cultural and economic fuse is capable of hindering development in which crisis, a major problem is ignited. It concluded that this could induce crisis in form of hunger, greed, corruption, violence, environmental problems, war, human rights violations, injustice, religious intolerance and poverty. This study affirmed that the flow of culture into economics could result to crisis if not adequately managed. It therefore advocated for clear understanding and management of the relationship between economics and culture to minimize crisis towards sustaining peace and development in local, national and international communities. The understanding of the relationship between economics, culture and crisis will assist in the fashioning of decisions that affects these areas.
