Meeting report on the 36th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine (JSLSM)

The Japan Society for Laser Surgery and Medicine (JSLSM) was founded on November 16, 1979 byKazuhiko Atsumi, Emeritus Professor, The University of Tokyo (the Honorary President of JSLSM, Fig. 1left) and his colleagues. The first annual meeting of JSLSM was held in November, 1980. This Societyhas a total of more than 1,200 members and the present President is Prof. Kinya Furukawa, TokyoMedical University Ibaraki Medical Center (Fig. 1 right). The official journals of JSLSM are the Journalof JSLSM (in Japanese) and Laser Therapy (in English).
