：Objective To investigate the effect of resilience on postoperative pain of elderly patients with traumatic fracture. Methods 〓A questionnaire-based survey was conducted to investigate the general situation, level of postoperative pain(Numerical Rating Scale,NRS), resilience(Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale, CD-RISC)and coping style(Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire, SCSQ)of patients. Results 〓There was a significant difference in the total score of CD-RISC among patients with different education level, economic status and degree of pain. The degree of postoperative pain was negatively correlated with the positive coping style(P0.01), and positively correlated with negative coping style(P0.01). Resilience played a mediating role in relations between postoperative pain and coping style. Conclusion 〓The resilience is a key factor influencing the postoperative pain of elderly patients with traumatic fracture.
