Orem自护理论在老年全髋关节置换术中的应用

摘要

Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of Orem self-care theory on hip joint function and postoperative complications in elderly patients undergoing total hip replacement surgery. Methods 〓A total of 76 elderly patients undergoing total hip replacement surgery were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 38 cases in each group. The control group received routine care after surgery, while the observation group were given intervention based on Orem self-care theory. The Harris hip score, Barthel Index, incidence of complication and satisfaction degree were evaluated and compared between two groups. Results 〓The Harris hip score and Barthel Index were higher in the observation group than those of controls after nursing intervention(P0.05). Patients in the observation group had a lower complication rate and higher satisfaction degree on nursing service compared with those in the control group(P0.05). Conclusion 〓Nursing care with Orem self-care theory is potentially effective to reduce the risk of postoperative complication after total hip replacement surgery. It can also improve the rehabilitation of hip function and activity of daily living of patients.
