:Objective To investigate the preventive effect of different infusion rates on the phlebitis induced by intravenous infusion of levofloxacin hydrochloride. Methods 〓Totally 40 patients with low-speed intravenous infusion of levofloxacin hydrochloride were selected as control group, and 40 patients with high-speed intravenous infusion of levofloxacin hydrochloride were as observation group. The incidence and severity of phlebitis in the two groups were compared. Results 〓The incidence of phlebitis was lower, and the severity of phlebitis was milder in observation group than in control group, and the significant differences were shown(P0.05). Conclusion 〓High-speed infusion can effectively reduce the incidence of phlebitis and improve its severity in patients with intravenous infusion of levofloxacin hydrochloride.
