:Objective To observe the efficacy of nursing based on integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine for patients with urinary retention after the operation for anorectal diseases. Methods 〓Totally 58 cases of patients with the diagnosis of urinary retention after the operation for anorectal diseases were included in this study. Nursing interventions based on integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine were carried out within 6 hours after the operation, including emotion regulation, acupoint application, Chinese herbal retention enema, induced urination. Results 〓Of 58 patients, 50 patients with markedly effective outcomes, 6 patients with effective outcomes and 2 cases with ineffective outcomes(with treatment of catheterization). Conclusion 〓Nursing of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine is effective to relieve the symptom of urinary retention after the operation for anorectal diseases.
