：This paper summarized the nursing management of one patient halo-pelvic distraction for adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Nursing measures mainly included humanistic care, psychological care, prevention of pinhole infection, neurological involvement and other complications, strengthening the pain evaluation and nutrition support, health education before discharge and extended care.
