Abstract:This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 86 patients with microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia. The psychological care and nutrition support were provided before the surgery. The postoperative complications such as posterior fossa hemorrhage, cranial nerve injury and cerebrospinal fluid leakage were detected and targeted nursing measures were carried out. The pain was completely relieved in 83(96.51%)cases, 2(2.32%)cases with partial remission and 1(1.16%)case was no remission. The standardized nursing measures during the perioperative period were essential to ensure the success of t microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia.
