Abstract:ABSTRACT: Objective To investigate the nursing measures for dilated cardial myopathy (DCM) patients with heart failure who undergoing cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (CRT-D) implantation surgery. Methods A total of 40 DCM patients with heart failure underwent CRT-D received mental state and pain nursing interventions on perioperative period. The operation condition, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), complication and quality of life were observed. Results The operations were successfully completed in all 40 patients. There was no complication such as incision hematoma and defibrillator loss. The mean LVEF and quality of life scale were increased after operation (P0.01). Conclusion Perioperative nursing interventions for DCM patients with heart failure is necessary for reducing complication in CRT-D operation.
