Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation in treatment of cold and dampness typed neck-shoulder-back-leg pain. Methods A total of 48 patients with cold and dampness type neck-shoulder-back-leg pain were given drug therapy and combined treatment of moxibustion and traditional Chinese medicine fumigation, as well as comprehensive nursing interventions. To observe the clinical effect and to evaluate the pain degree by visual analogue scale(VAS). Results All patients finished treatment course, with a overall clinical effect of 93.75%(45/48). The VAS dropped from(6.65±1.45)before treatment to(2.46±0.72)after treatment, with a significant difference(P0.05). Conclusion Moxibustion combined with traditional Chinese medicine fumigation is an effective way in treatment of cold and dampness type neck-shoulder-back-leg pain. It is also necessary to apply comprehensive nursing intervention, for the purpose of alleviating pain.
